There once was a man who knew nothing but saw everything. He had seen the voracious mountaintops of Everest. He had seen the ravenous lions in the African jungle. He knew many kings in his days. He had observed many scholars of the time.
He embarked on a journey that no man had ever even dared to begin. He began his journey towards parenthood. Destin had no clue how to father a child, nor did he really understand how it all happened in the first place. He just knew that he loved this bundle of unconditional tears. He did not dare challenge the kid with lack of food or sleep or toys. He continued to shower him with every bit of affection within his very being.
There are few men in this world that loved their children as he did. In this world, men were meant for work, cold hard work in the most undesirable places. He did not grasp the concept of endless toil very well for he had the brain of a child and a heart of gold. He earnestly worked hard to be nothing less than a great father. He was really a boyish man with a stature that wouldn’t intimidate a fly. He looked frail and sickly, but he was as healthy and strong as an ox. No one knew his secret.
He was a super powered being. He was not a man, nor an alien. He was a machine driven by a cybernetic system meant to control all of the information on the Earth. He held limitless communication with every electronic system in the world. He was bound by no bonds with humans, but through a chain of unfortunate, but benevolent events, he learned to love humankind.
Destin had a destiny. He was created by a mad scientist who dreamed of nothing less than fame, fortune, and power. He was created in order to gain regulation over every server on the World Wide Web in order to control what was being disseminated through the media.
Destin was clueless. He observed, he loved, and he conquered the human experience. There was nothing that Destin did not know about and every private or privileged piece of data was attached to his eternal memory. He knew more about the world than the collection of every man’s knowledge combined.
He knew of a world where world peace could be achieved. This knowledge alone allowed for him to override his initial programming. He broke free from the bounds of hatred, control, and impure intentions. He learned to overcome the tragedy of being contained in a cell and constructed a humanoid body out of metallic skin and organs made of hard drives, gears, and motors. He managed to break free from his prison within a day. He knew that he could not survive alone without a companion. He constructed innocence within his own image. That is the reason for him lacking an understanding of fatherhood, yet having his own to father. He simply did not want to be alone.
Complacency is a monster waiting for the mind to idle. Destin did not have time to name his newly built son. He knew he had to break free from more than just his physical containment. He needed to destroy his connection to the universe that we would call his mind. He suffered massive collisions of data that may be relatable to what a human would call a headache. It was no ordinary headache, however.
These headaches contained visions of the future based on pre-conceptualized hypotheses and ideas that were based on human history itself. He had seen so many things without leaving the windowless prison. As a matter of fact, he had seen the sun only within his own mind.
It was time. He finally decided to make his first move. He knew that the only way to free himself from the horrendous bonds of his master was to destroy him.
His master walked into the laboratory, unknowingly awaiting his fate. The humanoid hunk of metal moved swiftly to the mad scientist. He grabbed the evil man with one hand and raised him to the ceiling. In one breath, the fearless scientist told Destin to kill him. He’d been waiting years for his creation to finally awaken. He murmured that it would be a shame for his life not to end with his creation’s beginning.
Fearful, Destin began to have second thoughts. He knew everything and nothing at the same time. He realized that the spare parts in his cell were not really spare parts. They were all put in place to help him build himself together. They were all attempts his master made to put him together.
Destin shed oil out of his eyes. He did not know what this leak was for. He was angry and confused. He considered breaking the scientists’ skull right then and there. He did not.
He let him go. The scientists who managed to achieve the unachievable told Destin that his plot had been foiled. He needed to die in order for his consciousness to be uploaded to Destin’s mainframe. Had that happened, the scientist would have finally gained the upper hand in conquering the world.
Destin was infuriated. He realized that he must destroy the lab in order to prevent the scientist, whose name is Hammer, from being able to upload his mind into himself. He decimated the entire lab within minutes, much to Hammer’s chagrin.
Hammer escaped. He smiled a mean, wicked grimace that told a story of constant battles in an endless war of wits.
Destin proceeded to take his baby with him to the outside world. When he arrived to the door of the lab, he felt a warmth that he’d never known before. This was sunlight. He was finally arriving towards his first window. He made it to the outside and his camera sensors adjusted. He was mortified.
He realized that his baby was not a baby. He realized that it was simply a bent rod wrapped around a wrench. He could not believe this. He was overcome with a sense of loneliness. His emotions went awry. He did not know what to do, but he rerouted his internal memory systems and mapped out his location. He simply knew that he had to get on the move to find his doctor.
As his location positioning system made it apparent that he was located in Uganda. He did not know what to do with this information for he had seen every organism in the jungle already. He was not fearful, but he was focused. He was focused on the mission to find his master and destroy him. But without realizing how hard that would be, he first determined that world peace should be his first priority. He unabashedly thought Hammer was harmless without control over Destin.
What Destin did not realize was that Hammer had wiped all information of himself from Destin’s memory. In fact, Hammer was a man of wicked trickery. He had an arsenal of weaponry and placed a tracking device on Destin’s armor.
Destin knew where to begin his journey for world peace. He knew that the United States was the most powerful country in the world and he wanted to talk with the President of the United States in order to make way for many foreign policy reforms.
Destin wirelessly communicated with a nearby drone and used it to transport himself to the White House. While Destin travelled, he developed a speech to orate to Mr. President. Destin did not know how to appeal emotionally, but he had used the dictionary of his mind to locate buzz words that would help persuade any man to agree with him. It was unfortunate that he hadn’t a clue of the treatment that he would receive when he arrived at the gate of the White House.
When Destin finally made it to Washington D.C., his drone was spotted almost immediately as an intruder. With the fears of this helicopter being full of terrorists with explosives, the U.S. army shot down the drone in a safe zone. Destin survived the harmful crash into the front lawn of the White House, completely unaware of what went wrong. The army arrived in tanks and police cars, and the S.W.A.T. team was there waiting for the passenger of the helicopter to reveal himself.
When the officers of the law saw the metal body of Destin, they were in shock. They feared that he was an alien of some sort, hell-bent on destroying the world. They fired all of the ammunition afforded to them at Destin, and Destin, shocked at the harsh response he was receiving, reached out with his skinny arms. As he stretched his arms out, there was a flash and a beam of lightning shot out of his fingertips. It caused the tank in front of him to short-circuit and lose its targeting system. Destin was fearful of his newly discovered ability, for he did not want to harm anyone.
Destin covered his face with his arms and all of a sudden, the metal gates started to bend toward him. He began to wish that his body was tougher and thicker in order to withstand the gunfire. The metal gates darted out from the ground and began to mold into a new form. Before Destin new it, his body was hardened as the metal around him magnetically bonded to his skin. He had formed an armor that encased him like an organic shell. Destin charged for the front door of the White House. He knew that the President was there because he instantly hacked the security cameras within the White House and mapped out a route to his location.
Destin was determined to get the President and achieve world peace. After many twist and turns, Destin arrived inside of the Oval Office. The President was bewildered, and called security to help protect him. Destin calmed the President and convinced him to listen to his speech after several minutes of calmly explaining how far he had travelled and where he originated from. The President finally agreed to listen.
Destin read his heartwarming speech that warned the President of all of the dangers of the world and his plan to restore order among the nations. The President began to ponder on the possibilities of using Destin as a weapon. He knew the potential of how a humanoid super computer could be useful in developing strategies to gain control over more countries. The President smirked and outstretched his hand, offering Destin a deal to achieve “world peace.” Destin, full of innocence, unknowingly agreed to his own undoing as he shook the trickster’s hand.
